Silver Lake Dunes 2024

I'm somewhat late starting this thread but...who wanna do the dunes?
It's a buzz for sure and we can check out some trails in the Manistee Forest as well. For those of you who have done the trip before you know the drill. For those of you who have not...passport and trail permits are mandatory...I will post links for the permits soon.
Thinking August 5th till the 8th flexible on that...but you want to be on the dunes during the week...the weekends are crazy.
Manistee are pretty great trails and we can hit an off road park as well if time permits...one only needs one day at the dunes but for me it's a must.
This will be a hotel friendly tour but there all kinds of camping along the way for those that are so inclined.
I should also mention you will need recovery points front and rear and an A/T tire is pretty much mandatory.

Yep. I plan to visit Ludington state park again. If weather is warm, stay on the beach a bit.
