Hot Wheels

Went to an Antique Store and got some older pick ups!

 

My table of shame from this weekend lol....the little cars were from a thrift style store that sells mostly craft items and what not but they had a small bin of cars....some of these are from the 70's...pretty cool. The Matchbox set with the Honda/4Runner and the two 5 packs of Hot Wheels that I buy when I see them.

*and all the little cars/trucks from that thrift store were only a quarter to 50 cents a piece so I couldn't pass those up!








The Green Truck is for a race track...looking at Ebay, it sells for 15-50 dollars depending on condition. I already had one to include two more from a buy I made years ago....so for only .25 cents, not bad.

It’s hit and miss, found these at target and Wally’s on a Sunday morning, I normally don’t find anything at these stores. The boulevards are at Walmart only, and the tubular trucks I believe, but don’t quote me on the trucks. The targets here in my area of Michigan have the cosworth 2 packs warming the pegs along with the baby blue impala team transport. There’s a lot of cool stuff coming out this year, and Mattel has caught on to us being suckers for cool cars we can’t afford in real life. Don’t give up.

 

That flame set is fire. The Silverado has green windows..

Finds of the day, all I need left is the good ole Porsche!!! Hardest one to find locally. Also picked up another Lego set. Next is the McLaren set and then for the big ole VW bus I got my lady for her collection a few years back. Just haven’t had the time nor space to build. lol now we have the space but still working on the time.

Yep, that’s her thing. Doesn’t matter the brand or anything like that. She’s just a big VW Bus person. Hopefully next on the list in the near future will be a real bus.
