    Be nice to have something to snap in line at the connector when converting to a Haltech. Although I guess if you're taking injectors out and installing new it isn't a massive leap to also do the lower intake and install proper widebands anyway. Kinda out of the question for the people that only do the install halfway and use a FMU to avoid doing proper size injectors. Can't switch from narrow to wideband easily every two years or whatever for SMOG.

    I have a 2002 3RZ NA managed by a Haltech Elite 750. Non-emissions county and I have eliminated EGR and vacuum EXCEPT for the EVAP system. I don’t even know if the EVAP system is functioning at this point, but I get the feeling the tank isnt venting properly. Anyone eliminated the EVAP system here? If so how did you vent the fuel tank lines? There are two lines “To and From” the tank and I feel like just using diff check valves on each line, or some kind of check valve so I don’t lose fuel in case of a roll-over. Thoughts on this subjuct?

    Indeed. Duty Cycle (02 active and 02 inactive), Generic Correction, Coolant T Correction, Fuel Tank Pressure Correction and Wiring. Gabe @ SNP did the tune and all tables appear set-up.

    Should be able to add more duty, maybe based on pressure if you're smelling it since the charcoal can has a mechanical pressure purge that activates if the EVAP doesn't purge enough

    Thanks Speedy. Primarily I’m asking advice on eliminating the physical EVAP system and how to properly and responsibly vent the tank.

    I was thinking about that and I'm pretty sure the factory ECU wouldn't have a problem with the wideband if you keep it below 3k RPM or so on the way to the emissions center (or there - I've reset my CEL in the emissions parking lot before and passed lol, but that's because I have a '99 and can have 2 non-ready checks)

    I'd be pretty willing to bet that it would still throw a code for the signal if it didn't immediately throw a code for the impedance.

    You should see who does it locally. Just make sure they're familiar with haltech. If you want a tune that requires no tinkering then you haven't been reading this thread. You know that many of the tunes that have needed tinkering have come from that dealer. But the beauty of these computers is that you can tinker and fine tune. I suggest you take an interest in it yourself if you're going to commit to it. But if you're not I would find a tuner locally who is at least passingly familiar with the platform. We here can help you get it running and get a tune that would probably work for you for a long time... But if you want to chase all the power down and every tiny little thing out but don't want to do it yourself you're going to need a local tuner cuz as you've seen with the remote tunes provided by the aforementioned company theyre not without their faults. Also they're costly, so if you're going to pay that cost you might as well pay it with a local tuner who can observe your setup live and not waste time and do it all on a dynamometer. I'm going to say that if you want a full TurnKey set up though you're going to have to send the truck out to be done by somebody and you'll really need to open up the wallet

    Yeah, I haven’t been around in a while so I have not been keeping up to date. But all that makes sense. Appreciate the TLDR notes though, straight to the meat of what I needed to hear. That sale was a bit tempting but back in reality I just have way too much going on.

    I thought we were all just dropping them off at your place so you could wave your magical wrench and all the problems would disappear. I've installed hundreds of turbos on Forza that's basically how it works
