    Another hotter than average day in the Rockies.
    Squirrels and birds are stealing all our service berries. Hilarious watching them hanging upside down on skinny limbs trying to get to the berries. Love watching the wildlife on my little acre! Need to refill the bird feeders today.
    Pretty much a laid back day for me. Mostly putzing around.
    Hoping everyone has a fine day in spite of the heat!

    Good morning! Taking a break from making donuts and beating the heat (kinda) for a few days and headed to Longboat Key. We love it there because it is so quiet most of the visitors are Floridians like us and get a "break" on cheap summer rates. Love going over the bridge on the north side of the key and seeing the pass going out to the Gulf. You know there must be MONSTER snook in that water...man...maybe I should bring my pole.
