Would you mind verifying a couple of things?

Can a highlift jack (or similar) get under the sliders with either the doors open or closed without the frame of the jack hitting the truck?

There is a jump point inside the engine fuse cover. How feasible is it to run power to a winch from there? Would you take a pic of it?

    Thanks!

Truck came with a diagram of where on the sliders a hi-lift can be used. Basically on each end of the slider.

Will try to get a Pic later.

Bought a bak flip mx4 and front corners on bed are going to be leaking for sure. Real truck is not helping at all. Can’t get a response from them. Don’t buy it is my advise.

@Oldjarhead yep. All sorts of bad reviews, leaking, people returning them yet people still keep buying them. I don’t get it. Based on reviews and many others the only one that seems to fit perfect right now is the OE one which people “claim” is made by Bak so they keep buying Bak to save a couple bucks. Either Bak does not make it or they are dumb and not copying the design given to them by Toyota (or can’t) but nothing but problems with the MX4.

My OE one should be delivered to the dealer this week. I can’t wait.

When you get yours installed would you please post pics of how siderail tops look and especially at front corners of bed on how it seals at that location. Thanks

I just got a fedex notification that my RetraxPro XR has been shipped, but I won't be able to put it on till the end of the month. If no one else posts anything about it I'll get let people know about the fitment for the long bed version that they just got done. The hangup was that they were still working on the product. It looked like they had the short bed version released. I could be wrong though.

I have the OEM tonneau cover. It was installed by my Dealer. It fits perfect, flush, it doesn't interfere with the power tailgate, it doesn't leak. It's quality and costs about the same as non-Toyota.

Here you go. I even crawled in the back and had my wife close me in. The only place you can even see a spec of light is right where the arrow points. I ordered some extra foam to apply but after 2 down pours and 2 auto car washes nothing comes in there but I am still going to do it as I keep a printer in the bed plugged into the acc outlet.

Hi. Just ordered a '24 Tacoma and looking at the OEM tonneau cover.
Anyone with the OEM tonneau cover.
I see the drain hoses go inside the bed near bulkhead. That looks like the first time I hit it with a piece of plywood or similar, it would get cut.
    Thoughts?

If they get damaged then just replace them.

I just used my 3rd gen Tyger, the fit was good enough for me.

I bought the Extang Endure ALX tri-fold hard cover for my SR5 with 5' bed. Fits perfectly with no gaps in the front.

It did have some leaking around the black plastic funnel pieces in the front that connect to the drain hoses. The plastic funnel pieces are just friction-fit slid onto the metal rails (presumably for easy replacement purposes?), but I fixed that with some clear silicone sealant. Now no more leaking.

    Understood.
Does this mean you don't see it happening often? It could get annoying and time wasting (and expensive?) if hose keeps getting cut.

I don't see it happening often but at the same time secure your load and be carful if you decide to slam a piece of plywood in there.

I'll check tomorrow but the thing is solid. It's been pouring daily here in Florida and my bed is dry.

How is it so far, any complaints? I keep going on the website and loading it in the shopping cart but then I chicken out.
