I have been checking different zip codes looking for a Limited that I like. I stumbled upon this and had to post. Wonder if they would take $150K for it?

That's in Yen right? Whatever dealer that is selling that needs to hook me up with their supplier because they are high as a fuckin' kite.

 

When is Toyota going to start slapping penalties on these kind of dealers ? This is just giving Toyota a bad name … would be nice just to go to a Toyota ordering showroom pick out your options and truck gets built … no dealing with pushy shady salesmen .

 

Ask to take it for a test drive.

 

I think it is a mistake.
None of the other trucks have a large markup on them.

I can't criticize or say much until we know this is the "real" asking price.

I wouldn't harass the dealership until we know better.
Maybe an employee made a mistake when typing in the price?

Yep and you can always submit an offer closer to market price (which is below MSRP nowadays). Doesn't really matter if they advertise for $70k or $150k.

 

They are not asking that price. No human is actually typing in these numbers on websites. It’s all automated and somebody fed it a typo and it spit that out onto the website. Nice for a laugh but not worth taking seriously.

 

Huh? That's kind of contradictory.

You say, " No human is actually typing in these numbers.."
Then you say, "somebody fed it a typo".

A human was at fault here.

And another human will be at fault if they pay over MSRP for it.

 

You know I mean. A human typed something wrong in a database and down the line it resulted in that being accidentally spit out onto the website. The point is that nobody is actually trying to charge that much on purpose.

 

When they announce the percentage discount next week, somebody is gonna think that's a hell of a deal!

 

It’s not doing shit to give Toyota a bad name. Absolutely nobody thinks this is anything other than a fat fingered mistake when entering the pricing for the website.

 

I'll laugh when and if someone actually calls and confirms that that's the true asking price on it and that's what the dealer actually put in for it.

Hell for that price I might as well go buy me a full sized GMC Sierra or a 2025 Corvette ZR1 when they release.
