Well while we are here, anyone you'd trust to put in a header? Thinking of pulling the trigger but not until I get the install priced.

…I mean headers are usually pretty easy, especially on a 4cyl. You could do it with wrenches and a ratchet set. But if your rather, Tony is the Toyota guru around here.

Honestly, I think you’re talking yourself out of it. Unless you’ve got a ton of rust on your manifold, it’s really easy. Guessing like 8 stud bolts on the manifold and 2 more bolts to unhook the exhaust. Hit each with PB BLASTER. Let sit for 15-20 minutes and should come right out. Just don’t go to a shop, probably charge a fortune for something fairly simple. On the ground with hand tools, I’m saying 1.5-2 hours max.

 

Id say you're right, anything more advanced than changing my oil makes me tremble in my boots a little

Good morning MD. I went to PA last weekend and floated the Yough with my brother in law in his NRS raft. Caught my PB brown trout on fly rod. Good times. Truck averaged 19.5 on the trip up/back. Not too shabby IMO.

 

Dropped my car off for an alignment. Told them only mess with camber and toe if needed. Also said that I’m happy with where the wheel is in the wheel well and there is no rubbing. Gave them to SPC UCA instal sheet with the camber part highlighted. Hoping for the best

 

Dropped a slab of 2" Ash on my foot yesterday and got a parking ticket in frederick.


Is this week over yet?

 

Sorry about the run of bad luck. How’s the foot? Personally can’t wait for the weekend either, except now I hear possible morning rain both days! Tomorrow is looking pretty rough too… almost 100 out again and possibility of some nasty storms. I’m about don’t with the week myself!

 

The foot is doing a bit better today. Wearing shoes is a little painful still, but otherwise it's not bad.

I feel better about the week now that I got everything except the finishing sanding done on my wooden seats for the dining chair project. Should make the week a little easier.

 

You could do like I do and don't wear shoes at all

Nah, just looks like I'm growing a walnut on my foot.

 

got my truck back and they only needed to adjust the toe. Didn’t make any other adjustments and as long as I rotate them the tires shouldn’t wear uneven.
