Kumho AT52 road venture tires

Does anyone on here run the new Kumho at52 tire? Curious to see what they look like on a Tacoma.

 

Just looked them up. They look like every other AT.

 

I just bought a set of these 265/75/R16s. Hoping good all around and Winter. Replaced KO2s sized at 285/75/R16s. Don’t need heavy LT tires nor were they good on snow ice overall.

 

Bought these as well with sema trd wheels. Drove 12 miles on the highway and felt pretty good. They’re not loud at all.

 

Got 40k out of my set.

Excellent in rain and up to 1 foot of snow.

Only switched to Nokians because of price differential - Kumho went from $117 to $200+ seemingly overnight.

 

How are you liking them so far? I’m thinking of putting a set on my 4Runner.

 

So far so good through South Dakota winter. First highway trip planned in few weeks.

 

So far they been good. At least for what i use my truck for. Don't do any off roading. But as far as daily commuting and driving in the rain they seem pretty solid.

 

nice. I’ve got Falken wildpeaks on it now and they’ve been great but they have really increased in price since I purchased 3 years ago just like everything else.

 

The at51's were really loud and tend to wear funny for an advertised all weather tire.

These look like a much needed revision. I'd run them for sure, but its too bad the price went up. AT51's were usually the cheapest in the segment.

 

Can’t say much about Wildpeaks, haven’t tried these. So far Kumho 52s are excellent in South Dakota Winter, but haven’t tried off-road other than my gravel driveway.

 

What size did you buy? Considering these in a 255-75/17 on the same wheels.

How did you like them on your road trip? We have an opportunity to buy some new take-offs with these tires and trying to decide between these and another set with Bridgestone Dueller H/T. We do mostly highway driving and very little snow in middle Tennesse.

 

I’ve been on these Kumhos now for more than a year. Have made several trips, good ride at 75-80 on Interstate, no shake. Local tire shop must have done good balance job. Good on snow also where I live in South Dakota. No regrets with about 10k miles and one rotation. Much better than the KO2s I replaced. Lots of tire choices and opinions. Good luck.

Yes. They seem decent. Very close to rubbing in the front with the wheel turned.

 

Anyone else running these tires with pics?
