    Okay TW locals.
Turns out I have the RS3200 keyless entry in my 04 Tacoma. I like it. However:

Any insight as to why the horn honks sometimes when I hit the lock/unlock?

The frequency and occurrence is completely random.

I’d like to ensure the horn never honks when locking/unlocking using the fob.

    Any advice is appreciated.

@Madjik_Man - A quick interweb search led me to here: Guide: Toyota RS3200 - adding keyless entry

There are manuals in second post that may be helpful.

As for the Horn issue - horn(s) may be going bad or ground wire issue or vermin chewing on wires or Aliens.

I’m scouring my brain for memories of my truck with the RS3200 and “free security system upgrade”…

Tried to camp tonight off Tarryall Road. The mosquitoes there were the worst I've ever seen, and I grew up in Wisconsin.

Within seconds of stepping out of my truck I had a dozen or two on me.

Friends got to camp 30 minutes before me and they were already loaded up to head home by the time I got there.

I’m surprised all the SXS bros weren’t swarming more than the skeeters and hadn’t taken them out already with DEET and flamethrowers after driving off trail out there.

Not many people out there at all. It's a beautiful area, though, and I could tell it gets a lot of traffic at times.
