    Check the VIN and confirm it is a PRO...

    The resale is strong with the PROs. Especially in the 'PRO' Color... White, black, gray, are not as interesting. A polarizing color will always have fans...

    People spend way more than 8k making their SRs look like the TRD or PRO they said was not worth it... but without the benefit of the stronger resale value. At best, their mods can be removed and sold. At worst, they DETRACT from resale value.

    This means that in the end, they are actually WASTING MORE money. - Is that somehow more 'worth' it?

    A Behavioural economics professor should do a case study on this 'Tacoma' effect... It would be epic.

    As long as you do not pay a market adjustment - you'll be better off with a PRO.

    Individual specifics count... and you do have a truck already. Choose wisely.

    Glad I could be of (no) help! :D

    I see lime green Pro’s listed from $41-50k, so I guess one that’s been sitting for 70 days at $40k isn’t too far fetched, approaching the end of the month & quarter. If you like the color, go for it.

    Just know that lime green is polarizing. People love it or hate it, so when you go to sell or trade, there’s a lot of buyers who otherwise would want a Pro, but won’t buy yours specifically b/c the color. And the dealers will use your color as a reason to low ball your trade.

    I only drove it home, it drives "heavy" compared to the SR because of the difference in brakes but so far so good. I do miss being in a fishbowl (no window tint), used manual tacomas are very hard to find near me. Just search "all" tacomas near me for manual;

    There was a 9k mile? Green manual in Florida for a fair price a few weeks ago.

    It took me some time to get used to the window tint. Especially at nights out on back country roads.

    Again with the "investment" mentality....

    When I bought my last 2 Tacomas, I wasn't thinking about trade in value, just how many miles I can get out of it so I get the best value for my money over the long term. My 2012 has 595,300 miles on it so far..... and still counting... 235 mile daily commute. Just rolled over 17k on my 2023, still would rather drive the old one....more get up & go.

    Pretty sure the scrap yard won't give a shit if its lime green or white, black or titty pink after I'm done with it.....maybe more along the lines of "that sumbitch sure got his money's worth outta that truck".
