First of all, the welds on that bumper are exceptional. I inquired because some people like the rugged look of the welds and when painted they still show through displaying the quality of the welds while others might fill them with the appropriate product in order to smooth them out so when primed and painted or powder coated the entire surface would be smooth transitioning from one surface to another.

This was the list of options they sent me, I didn’t opt for all of them:

    MODS....

2 single thinner loops (100% mod people choose) - makes it easier to install under the trim

Swap out the fleece for a nylon liner (the most popular mod other than the thin loops)

Smaller brush loop / or / no brush loop at all (the side loop that is sized down slightly to fit a sharpie or pen)

Standard size (fits a 32/40oz Hydroflask) / or / smaller size (fits a normal water bottle) / or / XL (fits a 64oz hydroflask)

Standard / or / mirrored (If ordering 2) (have the pen loop face the same side so they mirror when installed)

Patch on the front(normal) / or / the back or leave it off the bag (only applies to bags with patches on them)

Remove the drawstring and grommet / or / keep the grommet and drawstring

Just the sheer number of welds and locations of them would make filling or blending the welds nearly impossible. But as you said, they are good welds, and they will show up nicely even through powdercoat.

I added the decal. Mine is the Southeast Toyota "XP" (Predator) package but mine is the 4WD with the premium interior package as well. I knew the former owner who challenged the dealer when he got it concerning the decal. Dealer said that when they contacted the manufacture's rep that there were a number of these that should have received "offroad" decals but didn't but authorized the dealer to install them. Instead, the former owner opted for an oil change and tire rotation and sold the truck to me 4 months later. I purchased the decals on Esty. They are heavier than most aftermarket decals so I am very happy with them. Also, since I like the black and white theme, I got the black decals. They are offered with mountain themes and such, and in different colors. https://www.etsy.com/market/tacoma_decal

Does not, but I’m running a 285/70/R17. So a bigger tire would. Someone lemme borrow a 34 n up and let’s see ha.

the XP package is a port bolt on package, hence why it wouldn’t receive the TRD Off Road decals. You just have a 4x4 SR5 there Master Chief. The difference between you and the Pro Posers is when they add that badge it usually still says “Off Road”. But I’m sure you have Electronically locking differential and Multi-Terrain Mode and CRAWL Control…. Love the truck you own, don’t pretend it’s something it isn’t.

Noticed slow cranking last week. Charged up the battery. Just 4 hours after disconnecting from the charger, the battery voltage had dropped to 12.38V. My fault for letting the truck sit for almost two months without a battery tender I guess. Replaced the battery with another Optima Red Top 35, P/N 9020-164:
