I remember seeing one of those blades hanging on the wall in a hardware store. IIRC, the center (or cone) was orange. I was probably around 8 or so.

I asked my Dad how it worked, since it only had short blades on the end. I didn't understand how the grass in the middle would be cut.

Nothing better than the Saturday morning trips to the hardware store with Dad....

I'm pretty sure the cone on ours was orange, at least when it was new and clean. And when the 4 blades got dull you could simply unbolt them and flip them over. They were symmetrical and sharp on both edges. Ours wasn't self-propelled like the one in the video, but the magnesium deck made it very light compared to most mowers. My dad got rid of it not too long after I moved out from home. I couldn't believe it... I WANTED IT :annoyed: He didn't know how much I liked it.. he just wanted a new mower.

Attachments for the box blade? I think so - the big hook-things, and the box is about it.

One neat thing- he has a 2" receiver welded to the bucket - when i face the bucket down, I can put in a ball or even a garbage-can-lifter-thing I have, and drive the cans out the 595 feet to the street :) #lazinesspaysoffNOW :)

This is the engine I replaced the head gasket and did a deep clean on. I mentioned that I had an over fuelling issue.

It was confusing me. It would start great when cold and run great while using it.

If I shut it down for 10-20 minutes, it would be completely flooded.

Anyways, I shut the thing down after mowing. It's heavy cotton wood fuzz season here. I wanted to clean the fuzz off the filter. While doing that I could actually see gas flowing out the top of the carb!

This is the port for the solenoid that shuts off the fuel to the carb.

I removed the solenoid and blocking plunger and cleaned the residue off it.

It now runs normally and starts normally no mater if it was a hit or cold start.

Like I have a trailer attachment with a 2" reciever thought I saw something like this behind the box bladeupload_2024-6-27_10-12-29.jpg and a middle buster upload_2024-6-27_10-13-20.jpg. And of coarse the log splitter that @KRAMERICA is getting.

So could you go from ^^^ that to something like
    20240627_105857.jpg
this ^^^ and load it with concrete blocks or 5 gallon water buckets if you only need some ballast occasionally?

    That is awesome :101010:

We had a 730 diesel with electric start growing up, dad traded it for an 830 with a pony engine.

I had a 630 and a 730 through the years, sold them both :pout:

In theory yes. Why not? But that might put the ballast too far back for tight movement. Since the B7100 is small I use the scrape blade because it has weight to it.
This is what my PTO looks like with available draw bar attachment

Not sure what they put in my tires on the Kioti.... But it was ORANGE & they said it would never rust the rims.

Might be the stuff KR was talking about cause it was 350lbs per rear tire & our tractors are almost exactly the same weight in their current stance.

Not sure what I'd do without my quick connect & ballast box. ....
