    We take our guy with us whenever we can.
    If we can't take him with us, we've always dropped him off with the sitter we started with when he was a puppy 12 years ago. She's the animal control officer in a nearby town, and has several dogs that he likes to play with - especially a female that thinks Barkley's absolutely wonderful.
    Here's Barkley with my wife at the Nubble - York Beach, Maine.
