    Hi folks

I need to hoist my engine about an inch to get the $&*%$ lower oil pan off......
I've looked everywhere and can't find anything online to show where they would be.
I'm starting to think I have a one of a kind because I see little that's like her. It's frustrating as I'm new to vehicle repairs.

    Help, please?!

I have a 2.7L (4 cylinder) TRD base model, 5 speed manual tyranny

    Seriously not being rude here.

But if you can't find the motor mounts it's unlikely you should be trying to remove the oil pan.

Get someone under the truck to point out things to you.

I live off the east coast and our vehicles rust extremely bad, extremely fast due to salt in the air and salt on the roads during our long harsh winter.
So everything is the same colour when you look in.

I'm new to fixing my truck, but I've been in garages since I could walk. I can identify parts

    Yeah....you're rude.
I suspect you'd not say that to another man..

Get under the truck and look between the frame and the block.

And you are incorrect about gender discrimination.

Note I said 'someone' (not a man specifically) to help you get oriented.

And I'd have given the exact same response to anyone with your request.

    Best of luck.
