1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

We haven't hardly seen any water but it's been humid and clowdy. Some decent thunder Tuesday night and a couple attempts to rain that didn't even wet the sidewalk


I worked at Texas Roadhouse they have some good food, we had their rolls at my wedding. there's a spot here with a local beef supply that beats their steak, we were just there on Monday.

We've got a half decent selection of places to eat

 

stupid fire alarm keeps going off at work this week, every day so far at least 2x we've had to exit the building and wait in the 90+ degree parking lot for them to clear the building.

Today I had the photo studio lights turned on for a shoot, but wasn't in the studio at the time it went off....all the alarms flashing caused the strobe lights to keep firing until they tripped nearly every breaker in the studio. Probably took 10 years of life off the damn things ffs

 

Yeah that stretch of 15 is not a fun drive, @Kwikvette and I did that all the way out to UT when we did the Moab meetup some of us from this thread did a few years back

It can be a half decent drive when the conditions are right.

What's crazy is, because you and I left a day later than everyone, people like Sean and Tyler (with Chris) all got stuck forever in traffic

Then I remember the text I got from Sean about his tire blowout on his trailer

 

Pretty sure Tyler was playing redneck truck driver hauling toilet paper across state lines on the cb

We went in early and then headed straight up the mountain after dinner. All the way up to a locked gate. Saw a coyote and a handful of deer. Even saw a couple fat ground hogs

 

Your truck frame is only 1/8" so you're basically doubling up

I'd run it, that's really cheap for getting those shipped free

 

Yeah seemed like a no brainer when I saw those, thinner than CBI/TG but at that price... FROR's plates are 1/8" too anyway
