No one eats anything in my truck. Wash and vaccum it once per week. Mcguiars Leather wipes every other wash. Never been off road; Never even been in 4-wheel drive. I know; I may as well drive a Hyundai Accent. But I really like my truck and I try and take very good care of my toys. I also take very good care of my family and my firearms.

I’d start exercising that 4WD system even if not off road. Keep things moving and from seizing up. That way if you do ever need it, it’s ready to take care of you.

I baby my truck like it’s the last gas-powered vehicle the government will ever let me afford. I also never thought I’d own a vehicle from new and somehow pulled it off, and paid it off. It gets babied but still driven in the winter and off road. Oil sprayed yearly, oil changed at 6500Km/1year whichever’s first. Still mint, problem free, and shifts like hot dogshit in true third gen tradition. I love it regardless.

    Buahahaha!

    That's my nightmare.

I bought a Sport because there are no plans to take it off road...BUT, and that's a big "Butt", (lol) in case I happen to cross paths with a dirt road, I know my truck will get me out of most predicaments (not needing a rear locker).

But....if I put myself in a position where I can't get out of where I traveled, it will be a learning experience. :amen:

EDIT: Oh, I consider myself somewhere between a 6-8 on babying my truck.

Definitely, a 10 when it comes to how I drive her...but lately, I've almost red-lined her to get ahead of traffic...love my OTT Tune.

100% no lol. It lives in the garage and only gets taken out for trips. 2018 and 60k miles of pure joy and adventure. Bought it stock with the sole purpose of making it a giant toy. I only take it to work when the wife has our daily, luckily we work together. My daily is hilariously a model Y… because it saves me shit loads of money, traded in our matching 4Runner for it.

Yup! Love Reno, tons of trails and wilderness to explore, and not very far away.

Went camping at bowman last week, was a great time. I’ve done the rubicon, only up to Spicer, and of course taking bypasses. Slick Rock is a blast for a Tacoma, but I can’t go back out until I replace my steering rack. I toasted it on the rubicon.

I'd put it as an 8. This Arizona heat and sun has killed so much good paint on decent looking cars and trucks that I'm worried for my own. I try to spray ceramic at least once every 1-2 months after a foam wash. As for the interior I figure if I spend most of my time in the cab it may as well be clean.

I thought I was a 3 but now I’m a 2 after hearing about you 8s that vacuum and polish the leather and never take your trucks off road and never eat and wipe your families with meguire wipes and don’t ever fire your guns except with photoshop and I also reserve the right to change my answer after the 80 guy tells us about the 80 threshold.
