Hey guys just recently got my quad fixed for the third time and trying to get out and ride some...me and my old man use to ride at paragon all the time but since they closed down a few years back and im in college there is not much time to ride....

Any recommendations for legal places to ride in the pa area? Im from the philly area so anywhere up in the mountains would be great.

    thanks for the help!

and if there are some of ya's that wanna ride Im looking to go somewhere sunday.

I just drove my truck back behind the philly airport for 2 hours. There are tons of trails back there and tons of people riding back there all the time. way more to do on a 4 wheeler or dirtbike but even in my tacoma we ripped it up good. took 3 times in the self car wash to de-mud it.

Ain't that the damn truth. The closure of Paragon was the beginning of the end of offroading for us. That place was AWESOME!!!

yea it definately was....and it was right before i got a real truck ha...me and my dad use to tow our quads up there with a 1995 cadilac deville till my sister wrecked it...then we towed it up with ford taurus....the looks we got were priceless. then my pops bought a ford lightning....the thing was a lil low but got the job done no problem...then it shut down. now i have my taco and no where to tow em! lol

I say we do something and get paragon re-opened....somehow someway (even though i know its near impossible) we need a place to PLAY!!

That ain't gonna happen. The owners of Paragon Adventure Park have relocated and now own the Badlands Offroad Park (entirely).

The land that Paragon used, belongs to someone else and the reason why it closed was because (and I don't know the details) someone else came in and wanted to put a cargo airport on the land. The economy took a dump and the airport never happened. I'm not sure who actually owns the land now...??

So, unless you find someone who's got an arsenal of lawyers & lots & lots of time & money to fight their way into making it an offroad park again...
    GOOD LUCK!!
Kyle & Stephanie Knosp (owners of PAP) fought for a long time trying to keep the place open.

There is a newly opening park in PA ....let me try and find some info: It's been a while since I've seen updates and I don't cruise around the offroad forums anymore.
    Ahh...Here it is

after you pass the airport you turn right on Hog Island rd/fort mifflin rd. On hog Island road you can see the trails on the left just turn in the dirt and your there. If you drive down hog Island rd a little more and see the train tracks on the left you just cross over them and there are TONS more. If your driving north on 95 and are in the right lane you can look over the side and see them.

If you copy & paste this location in google maps it should put you there.

    39.885199,-75.216383
    or
    39.867884,-75.225127

You can ride the quad & dirtbikes on the street to get to the other parst as long as your not fucking around. Cops are back there all the time and they just make sure everyones ok. they'll stop and look around but thats it.

Don't you have to have a membership with them?

Oh wait...what's this? Did Rausch Creek buy the area?

Nice! I'll have to check it out sometime. The one time I looked around I was on the other side of the airport. Last few times I've landed there I have seen that beautiful mess off to the right and thought I should look at how to get there but kept forgetting about it. I pretty much never go north of the airport/south of the city on 95 so I've never noticed it.
