Well I didn’t switch I sold that bike to my brother. When I bought my 2023 I did more research and found a tuning video that had the barkers and EHS tuner. Decided to go full exhaust and not just a slip on. Very happy with my decision.

You know that feeling when you almost have a perfect roster but there's just one more bike missing...

Ya that's what I've been reading is they are great for dirt on the price point.plus the maintenance intervals is a lot better then the others. Ya that would drive me nuts haha

The correct number of bikes is N+1 where N is the number you currently have.

    Hell yeah, that's awesome.

I'm using Washington's new-ish PFML program where I get 12 weeks from the state at 90% of my normal pay, but I can supplement it and get back to 100 (actually more, even) using accrued leave. I've worked for the state for 12 years now and barely used any sick leave, so I have over 500 hours there to use without even touching my annual leave. My wife is wrapping up her 18 weeks she got from the state (12 for bonding, 4 for being the birther, and 2 for "complications" aka c-section) and goes back to work the second week of July. I think it went into effect in 2016 or something? Crazy good paternity leave for the US.

I picked up the Grom racks and the bags from the dealer yesterday after work. They're pretty impressive for the price! The bags slip over a couple posts on the racks, and then buckle around the actual supports. Bags look great, with some reflective accents on the corners, minimal branding (only a small honda logo on the inside) zippered compartment on the inner top, velcro close lips, and then they each came with a dry bag/liner too. Really hoping I can make both sides work with the high mount exhaust and find a way to tuck the exhaust in more, but we'll see.. fingers crossed I'll get some time to work on it this weekend.

I also have some womet-tech levers from TST arriving saturday for the grom. Still on a kill all silver kick with that bike and I think the all black cnc'ed boys will look nice.

When I was at the dealer i was talking with the service manager, Matt Spencer, and he's building a 2023 grom up with a koso 150cc bbk, chimera intake, yoshi exhaust, oil cooler, whole nine yards. During that conversation I learned he does his own tuning. Next time I'm in I'm going to talk to him about that more. I have the A-Racer @oldtoyman sold me, but I'm tempted by him tuning it, too, if he's reasonable costs.

Dude was a dakar racer and mechanic for many years, multiple top 10 finishes in the early 2000s. Really, really cool guy and down to earth. Has done TONS with both of the ktm lc8 and lc4 platforms.

Oh, and he told me the 2025 grom belly pan kit is $100, and they OEM handguards will be $100, both available sometime in july. Don't think I'll get either of those but interesting nonetheless.

It was real nice!! I took care of him from about 11am to 2-3 am for his last feeding then got him to sleep. Then when he woke up @ 5ish Danielle would get up and take care of him until I got up at 11 am. Obviously she helped at night after work was done but it was a great schedule that let us both be involved. The second one was a little different.

My wife will ride on my FJR once in a while. She's not into long rides, rides when it's hot/cold. We usually do a ride once or so a year in the spring, typically to get lunch or breakfast. I think she's being a "team player" since I traded my R1 for the FJR, with the idea/thought that we'd ride a lot together. However, truth be told, I really, really, really, really, like my FJR for solo riding; so I'm good either way.

question for the klx300 guys in here. do you ever feel the bike is gutless and needs more power? overall the bike looks like a great little bike to rip around on but at 23-24hp that seems pretty low? im sure you can tune it and all that just wondering if stock hp is enough on trails since that is where the next dirtbike will mainly live at and wont be on street much at all.

also kinda wondering if i should just get the 300r version since im wanting to do mainly dirt with it not really much street so idk give me info please lol

Stock = a little slow but still plenty for off-road ,, tuned = perfect amount of power. Plenty for off-road and good for on road fun. JMHO
My dealer where I bought my 2022 Klx would convert the 300r to street legal for a fee. So it could be done , well at least here in Wa. I saw two of them he did for a customer.

ah i see i was wondering and most have stated on road its gutless but offroad is where it shines and is great. ill have to look into the tuning side of it, what kind of numbers are you getting once tuned?

ya i was looking up the tusk kit and how people installed them and they are easy to install so if i decide i want it to be a dual sport i can easily just get that and put it on. the one thing i saw that was interesting is people recommend the 20-23 models since they have the longer suspension front and rear and has a bit more ground clearance unlike the 24-25 models that have slightly less travel and have less ground clearance.

there is a dealer about 2 hours away with a 2023 klx300r for 5800 new idk what otd is but id be interested in that one if i can sell my klx sooner or if they would take mine on trade for at least 3k then its fine if not then ill have to wait for mine to sell oh well lol

I would say HP is in the 27-28 range. Very noticeable difference from stock and even the 2022 with slip on , secondary throttle plate removed and dynojet tuner.
I also run stock gearing. I am sure with a one tooth smaller front sprocket would make off-road even better. I like the stock gearing for best on and off road. In stock form the one tooth down in the front made 1st gear on the street not needed. You had to shift quick into second to get going.

Hi guys , I bought this old beast a few days ago. It a 1976 Honda 750f zsusuper sport. .I post a thread on my factbook page with these pictures. Some folks say it's an early version of 750f , some say is an f2 , some say wheels have been modified. but according to previous owner nothing has been done to the bike. What's your expert opinion?.

Quick Google image search came up with this.

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1976-honda-cb750-super-sport/

I'm no expert but I don't really recall the cast wheels on Honda that early so wheels might not be correct. Exhaust was changer for sure.
