    My family is very supportive and understanding of me not going. My fear is that I will regret it if I don’t, but I was with him the whole time he was in the hospital and hospice. I did go to the funeral home when my sisters and nieces and nephews all went to see him and say goodbye one last time before they cremated him. This is really given me a lot of anxiety.

    This is exactly what my therapist told me today. She said wake up naturally (no alarm) sit quietly somewhere that brings me peace and comfort while I have my coffee and pay attention to what feels right to me. In this moment, I’m not going.

    Thank you for the advice! Not sure why I’m paying her when I have you ❤️:)
