    Nice!

It looks like the dealer wasn’t worried about rubbing with the tires being so far out. What are the chances they won’t rip off a mudflap?

Who else around here, besides EAA, has a Tri-Motor?

Nobody. EAA was selling rides in this and a B-25 in Madison this weekend. May thought that a plane ride sounded more fun than sandbagging the shoreline. I couldn’t agree more!

I'm not particularly fond of small planes, but several years ago, I took my son to Middleton for a biplane ride. It was actually pretty cool.

I did that ride 5 yrs ago. Wife took me for my birthday. I asked the pilot to do barrel roll. He said the plane wasn't rated for that.

All planes are rated for a properly executed barrel roll. Parachutes are required though, unless it’s strictly for training.

Lots of engine turned sheet in that photo. I wonder how many hours went into that detail?

Well, got about 90% of the leaf job done. For having a bunch of this apart just last summer, it sure was a bitch taking it apart again. Both sides fought me getting the pins to seat into the axle housing and I put the shackle bolt in backwards on the first one. :facepalm:Have to take that apart and rectify in the morning. Then it's get the tires on, set it on the ground, jostle it a bit to settle things a bit, then torque the bolts down. Not too bad of a job and my back isn't even that sore.

Mon, I think I'll put a couple hundred pounds of stuff in the back and head up to Mountain and hit some mild trails to try and get everything all settled in.
