What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Finished my onboard air. Installed the compressor a couple months ago. Added a flush mount power button. Installed a quick connect coupler on the front and rear bumper. Installed a 4.5 gallon water tank. Plumbed the air lines to both couplers and an inline regulator for the water. Used a shut off valve before the regulator so I'm not pumping air into the water tank when airing up tires. And, a check valve at the tank.

 

Not really, but this way I can always just remove the covers and it is ready.

It was actually yesterday, but yeah, broke the antenna off. Not on purpose of course. Just being stupid

 

Finally installed the Sofhold magnet, had it sitting around for a couple years. Was inspired by the users in this thread the past 36hrs. Used some Gorilla double-sided tape and the screws that came with the unit. Holds my EDC fine, my 45 rotates abit, but is not coming off the magnets hold.

Ive been index carrying for two decades now, so this might be good if things get squirley going fwd. Not going to change my routine, just good to have it mounted if needed.

Here's my solution for in-truck holster. Victory 4x4 molle panel with magnetic holster and expandable magazine holder (to accommodate single and double-stack mags).

I installed a hitch and wiring to tow my little pos boat. I used an OEM style socket.

 

^Was your truck prewired for the trailer connector (harness going to a blank connector)?

 

Finally got a proper spare tire and on a matching rim. I've put 8000 miles on the truck with no spare. No issues tho. Whew.
