High doses can cause upset stomach or contribute to kidney stones...but you'd have to take a ridiculous amount. Mrs. Spruce Mica and I have both taken it for a number of years with no issues. A number of my friends have also.

You may also want to look into glucosamine chondroitin for joint issues. I've also taken that for many years...after I saw what it did for our aging golden retriever when our veterinarian prescribed it for him.

Totally this re the glucosamine chondroitin. My knees are garbage and this helps beyond words.

Soccer game for the kiddo at 12, then back home to get changed and heading to Bradley to go spend 10 days in FL with the fam, and go on a cruise next week to celebrate my brother in law's 50th.

 

Great W, shutout by the kiddo, and now at Bradley waiting to board and head out.

 

Went to Kohl's with my future BIL and his nephew to try on jackets to get sizes so we can order jackets (for the wedding). Then we went to BigY, then the three of us went back to his house and had hamburgers and put his Blackstone griddle together.
Tomorrow will be a easy Sunday relaxing and doing stuff around the house. Ordered the last of the cables I needed for my PC rebuild. They should be here tomorrow afternoon/night (Amazon).

 

Woke up late so got right to things, ended up getting more done than usual. That was a nice turnabout.
Couple highlights -
Ridgeline has a bump/bump/bump that varies by speed at front left wheel. Each bump pulls the steering wheel to the left. Went to mechanic to make an appt. to drop it during the week. He said leave it. So I walked home.

about 30 minutes later I hear a noise, look outside & it's my mechanic delivering my truck to me. How awesome is that!
Turns out I've got a bubble in the tread & front right is pretty done too. I need 2 new tires & 4 new tires isn't a bad idea.

Took the Taco to the tire shop, they weren't crazy so...
Had the rims tires on the Taco removed. Put on the Wildpeaks. Forgot the lug nuts!
Had the removed all season tires dismounted. Tire shop ran me home because I forgot the other lug nuts. Came back with lug nuts & other truck.
Had the all-seasons mounted onto the Ridgeline rims & dumped the 4 tires.

So I've got "new" tires on the Ridgeline, wild peaks on the Taco & in all the shuffling unburied the Pius so I can start saving some gas.
Renewed the Taco reg. yesterday, Monday I have to pay the town their road use tax for 4 vehicles that I only drive 1 at a time.
Paid a sh*t-ton for another year of insurance on 4 vehicles I only drive 1 at a time.

Gotta wonder if 1 dealer plate would be cheaper. Create a dealership, get a plate, write off the cars... I dunno, got to be a better way.
(Before anyone says - just drive one car - don't say it. That's just cray talk)

Fun fact: The all-season tires that are shuffling around - Tacoma take offs from a 2018.
For those of you good with maths - 2024-2018 is indeed 6 years. Yup they lost their grip last year. Treads are like new but they break loose if a sparrow flies past. That 5 year rule for tires is real.

Some sleep, then tree guy & hopefully a quote I can afford in the morning. Was under that tree picking up dropping during a breeze & heard a loud CRACK! Should'a seen me run from under. LOL, but nothing came down. Those trees are sketch, they gotta go. Happy weekend all.

 

I had a car come into the shop. I did a multi-point inspection and recommended 5 new tires. The spare was original (car was 20 years old) and the 4 tires were about 7 years old. They declined the tires.
