Hello Hoozier! He’s a good looking boy Blevin it always warms my heart when good folks go rescue and drive distances to bring a new member of the family home. It’s how happy endings begin!

Hello Hoozier and congrats to both of you both for the forever home!

One thing most of that shoot clays have in common is that we bird hunt, with dogs. Our lives seem to center around the dogs and everything else follows after that.

@Ret CB I blame you for the GX :p. And thank you for that! It is the nicest and bestest vehicle I have ever owned. Well above the paygrade of a retired Navy Pit Snipe Chief even slightly used but worth every penny. Puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it and the greater the distance the more it is appreciated. MPG may suck although honestly not much different from my 2nd Gen Taco, but the Smiles Per Gallon are priceless.

The buggy was a great investment as well both for sporting clays and hunting. 2 out of the 4 of us own Tacomas if I still had mine it would be 3 out of 4. I did have the first one in the group

Nothing a hot shower, 15 minutes on the inversion table, handful of Alieve, coffee, 15 more minutes of inversion table and more coffee won't cure.

I was curious how $92K would match up to 20 years ago. 92k today was 52K in 2000 and 39450 in 1990.

I remember my dad bought a brand new 1976 F250 4x4 with a warn winch and winch bumper and he was complaining that it was (almost) a $10,000 truck ($9k and change).

    She's looking good Chief
I'm guessing it had no problem pulling the buggy. I picked up mine used as well 22K.... Up to 42k now. I still have some vinyl wrap to do to black out the rest of the chrome. Had the wheels powder coated black. It certainly is a fun little grocery getter :D

I bought a brand new 2001 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 quad cab long bed with Cummins for $32K out the door. My 2017 Taco Off Road double cab short bed was $36K out the door  For $92K, I could buy a new Cummins and have it heavily modified for power/torque. but, everyone has different needs / preferences. I have no interest in a Bronco at any price.

The only one I want back is the '71 Bronco I had. There was a big influx around here with the new Bronco, now you see a lot of them on the used car lots. I've no desire to own one.

I had a '77 Bronco in the early '80s. .. I'd love to have it back. Traded it in on my first Toyota (1984)
