My truck is exactly level right now and I want to get more of a factory rake again. I have Bilstein 5160s in the rear with 1.5" AALs and the overload spring still in place. I have Bilstein 6112s in the front set at 2.25". Should I lower the fronts down a clip setting and then get a new alignment, or should I add a .5" block in the rear (or possibly a single leaf spring)? Trying to figure out what would make the most sense. Thanks.

I don't have blocks yet, just throwing that out there as an option. I'd like to get new springs but don't feel like spending $1k on that right now. My bed is usually empty except for the occasional trip to the dump or picking up some furniture my wife found somewhere. I'm trying to do this with minimal cost.

I tried the blocks and thought the truck's handling sucked, IMO blocks artificially prop up the rear end w/o the any give like a spring would. Swapping the blocks out for better springs made an immediate improvement in handling. I'll made someone a great deal on some almost new 1" blocks lol. Recently put the HD spring set on and I'm very happy with the results, significant improvment over the blocks. They raised the truck about 1.5~2"

They worked nicely with some OME 884 springs up front.

    These guys. https://www.generalspringkc.com/200...ner-heavy-duty-rear-leaf-spring-4-3-1-leaves/

I had recently added a topper and it made the 3YO recall springs sag. Blocks were a disappointment so I went with the HD rears and some OME884s with the Bilstein's set back to zero.

The pic maks it look like it's squatting but that's the terrain, it's got a slight rake to the stance.

I'd lower the front and get it re-aligned.
