No, not "close." Your own laws say you cannot market anything as "Pepper Spray" intended to be used on people; that is considered a prohibited weapon.

What you say about bear spray (which I realize is the same product, more or less, in a bigger canister with different marketing) is true.

Anyway, back to mountain lions on cacti.

They weren't trying to ban Bear Spray .

They made Mace and pepper spray for use as a self defence weapon and marketed as such , a controlled weapon under our weapons laws .

Bear Spray intended and marketed as such is a necessary tool for those working in the bush , so it was never going to be outlawwed .

    So you were close .

"Schumacher said it's still possible police will ask for an outright ban -- through a new city bylaw -- on the product in Winnipeg if bear-spray-related crimes don't drop."

Those are "rare", apparently the Saguaro Cactus only grows here and in a certain spot over in Australia. Its a felony to disturb one here in anyway!

I know everyone hunts/does not hunt for different reasons but I'll share my mindset.

I hunt because I use every part of the animal I take. I also hunt because to me it is better for the animal population as a whole than buying my meat from a supermarket, fast-food joint or restaurant. It's just more efficient.

Think about this: when you order a burger from McDonald's, you are ordering about the lest-efficient food product in the history of food. In order to make the cow into food, they have to first feed it food. So, you're growing grain to feed to the cow, that you then slaughter the cow and make that food. Why not just eat the grain and save a step, fuel, waste, and unhealthy byproducts?

This was the most convincing argument I had heard for becoming vegetarian. The problem is, I like meat, and I think life is too short to not enjoy it because some jacknuts says animals have feelings. So I decided the best way to keep from contributing to the over-indulgent food trade in America was to hunt. Now, I eat what kill, and if I don't kill anything, I eat veggies and beans.

One thing re: cows. They eat grain not fit for human consumption.

Here's another thing to think about: Do you kill felon animals disturbing rare cacti? WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA? I need to take my ritalin.

Winnipeg isn't Canada. It's a toilet that people decide to live in that happens to reside in Canada.

You guys beat the crap out of the FJ Blue Room. I haven't owned a Tacoma in nearly a year but this forum is by far the most entertaining.
