    So much tech now!
    Cruise isn’t on?
I’d be waiting for the flatbed?

This could be because you need to hit the brake pedal to start it. I think if you hold the start button for a long time, like 20sec, it will start without the brake. Maybe give that shot?

    Can anyone confirm?

Long press and hold on vsc may be worth a try.

Or if you have a Trailer Brake controller, you can hold it on and start without pressing the pedal.

So, turn it off, put it in park and long press the start button while pressing the VSC button?

I'm in the "wait for a flatbed trailer to arrive" camp! Put your hazzard lights on and stay inside the truck.

That didn't work, I can go about 100 ft forward, then the front passenger side caliper locks up.

I can go in reverse as long as I want no issues, only happens when I start going forward???

    Just the Start button.

A long press of the VSC button after the engine is started can disable most of the stability control stuff. Never all of it.

    That's further at least.

I'm out of wild ideas though, only stupid ones, like tossing it in 4WD. Do not to do that.

I hope it is an easy fix.

When it locks up, if I keep steady on the acceserator it will unlock, go another 50 ft or so before it locks

Ok, the longer I go in reverse, when I put it back drive the longer it lets me go forward before locking up. It's just the right front caliper now. The holding the start button thing for 20 seconds did seem to disable vscIMG20240701145852.jpg
So do the long press on the start button while it's running, I'm about to just call Toyota and have them come get it :(

You shouldn't feel like a failure.

    1. These systems are complex and hard. I'm willing to bet this will be a failure that isn't simple based on troubleshooting done here.
    2. Fucking with brakes on a highway ain't worth it.

I know the feeling, but it ain't you.

Even in the comfort of home, it would be a challenge from the sound of it.

Let us know what it ends up being. Have your paperwork handy just so the dealer remembers that they installed the lift.
