I may do that one of these days…:D when my urge to battle birds become overwhelming, lol.
But I do appreciate them eating all the caterpillars, so I tolerate them sneaking blueberries :D

I have three pear trees out front that I have resigned to let the deer enjoy the fruit when they fall…I figure sharing a bit with the natives brings good karma.

Except, I don’t want to share with the pesky groundhogs! Rascals do too much digging!

I cut and bagged the 70 scapes last Tuesday. They are in the fridge , and will take care of our garlic needs until the new bulbs are dug. I still have about 10 bulbs remaining from last years crop hold over, but they are starting to sprout ;-)

Did more marinara tonight. Good mix of German stripies, German black and Cherokee purple tomatoes, hence the orange color.

This look like blight? About to restart the whole garden, haven’t produced much any way. Just want to make sure my soil doesn’t have disease. Any tips to cleanse soil if this is blight?

Cut any stuff off and burn it. Clean your clippers with rubbing alcohol

If you soak the grean beans in cold water it will save them overnight, change it out evry day they will keep longer till you can get to them. If you got room in fridge would be better

I have some Apache Blackberries that are getting close to ripe, and the Prime Ark Freedom has a bunch of new buds going for a 2nd harvest!

That's pretty wild as my Apache did basically the same thing, smallish berries and a bunch of buds that just dried out and turned brown. Been thinking of adding a Ponca Blackberry plant as I hear good things about them.

I had to destroy my Ouchita because of orange rust:mad:, it was vigorously growing though.
