Mine crapped out a couple years ago and it was just outside of warranty (of course).
All it was was the humidity sensor which was not available as a replacement part (of course).
Out it went. Throw away society I guess. :frusty:

    Happy July 2024!
Warmest morning so far at 68*! Cloudy and a high of 90*. +4 of our average.
KeFttlebell day, then a bit of yard work while cloudy, water veges, find a spot to unload the UT full of compost so I can start filling it with trimmings, etc, etc.

Get outside and get your vitamin D! But above all, make it a great day!

A little something every chance we get.
:canada: Happy Canada Day, eh? Good morning Porch Pals and Sue! Remember I said it was hard to figure that my single pump in the shed was filling the reservoir faster than the two duplicate pumps could empty it? Well, a few days of balancing took care of that! As soon as a couple valves arrive from Amazon, they will regulate the shed output, and I will adjust to the 10 minute timing. Always something!

Of course it is, yesterday morning wifey says "we have a problem with the pool". Automatic chlorinator hose is spraying water. "Do I have a spare?" Of course I have one chunk of that hose, but it was the fittings that were cracked. Off to Lowes for that aisle with "grey PVC fittings" for everything. Well, PEX has taken all that space now, so it's find the next best thing. Which of course, requires a different hose - which is 3 shelves up for "cut it yourself". San Marcos Lowe's does not specialize in having help, so it's a pre-packaged 10' for $25 as my choice. I needed 12".

So, I make those repairs, get it running, and now the chlorinator is dripping all around its top where you put pucks in. Tighten to no avail, so take it off to inspect and lube the gasket. Pick it out of there, and everything it's touches turns black. When I get the top cleaned, it's now 2" too big to fit! But, I need it today, so I make a razor incision, and shorten to fit. Takes the rubber strap wrench to get it tight. But it's all back, and new gaskets come today as well. Can't do one thing, because it's always something else.

    Have a great week everybody!

Good morning. Up late last night. My cousin was admitted to the emergency room after a fall. Not a fun night.

Exactly! That seems to happen to me a lot! I'm at Point A, the problem is at Point B ...but there are a lot of gremlins between A and B that want to take me down. NEVER!!! :annoyed: :crapstorm::duel::frusty: :benchpress: :yay::woot::oldglory:

I recently straightened out the pond pipe AGAIN, and it's already pushed over :frusty:, I HAVE A PLAN !
Buddy gave me a quarter stick and have been looking at how to make a trip wire igniter to set it off, my luck, I'll scare the crap out of another critter other than the bear.
