Buddy and I in his jeep hit up MSV and Coney Flats today. Surprisingly not too busy. But got stuck behind some younger kids in a rocky section on the way up, leader had a 4 door jeep, an early 2000s Grand Cherokee followed by an FJ. Jeep kid was more experienced than the other 2 and didn't really give his buddies good advice. I asked the FJ kid if he aired down and he said no, the leader told me he's at 15 PSI. I said dang you didn't tell your buddies?

This sweet Defender followed us up. He did all new wiring and custom dash himself as well as a Cummins swap. He said he had an LS swapped 90 too

PSA: No matter what you choose to drive down a scenic dirt road, if there's a line of cars behind you, consider taking advantage of one of the many pull-offs you're about to drive past. Tell your friends.

We hit the trail head a little after 9 I'm pretty sure. Saw some traffic coming up from the Res side but nothing too bad. Did see a guy in a jeep.. with gloves, wheeling gloves?. Jeep thing I guess

    didn't see that guy lol

I think we got to the trail head about 11. had multiple groups of jeeps going quick and SxS blast past us from both directions so I was pulling off the trail every couple of minutes. one group of SxS guys were real pricks about speed running sections of the the trail back and forth and were trying to wedge their way past me if I didn't immediately make space every time they caught up to me from either direction

We passed those dudes right after the creek crossing right around 11. They sat in the middle of the trail chatting, chuggin beers and blasting music. One dude asked how to get to Bunce School road, I just said to follow this down and turn left. But he couldn't hear me with the music blasting. He must of had bad allergies cause his eyes were pretty bloodshot and watery. :rasta:

Was once our favorite local trail in the 90s.

I’ve been on it maybe three times since. Too many people. Too many idiots.

The last thing I need to do is get angry at idiots when trying to escape into the woods to get away from idiots.

Is this insect native to Colorado? Some of you might have a degree in bugs.

It was in a sealed bag of printer filament from China, and it's alive.
