I just had this runaround with progressive. I was hit by an uninsured motorcycle, it ended up costing me $2600 to fix. They cut me a check for $958. If there was any body damage to my truck it would be fixed at a rate paid by progressive of $60 an hour. The body shop charged $65 an hour, so I would have to pay the difference. Not a great setup I don’t think.

Can you keep them straight in here? I'm heading to the beach for some R&R for a few days.

@StayinStock will kindly send you a check based on how well you do herding these cats.

Just don't ever try to cash it or we'll be in trouble

Progressive treated us good when I got sideswiped in my wife's Mdx. Totally their fault, mine hasn't gone up so far. But these companies give you a quote and that includes a tracker in the fine print. I didn't want that and didn't totally realize that would change my price until after I changed...

We have state farm and our agent is a little old lady in her 80s. She's been in the business about 100 years (someone check my math :D) and has been good to us, but I'd wager that the claim experience is probably different depending on whether or not you're at fault. I've only had one accident where the other party was at fault, so no rate changes and no hassle with payment.

Alright we had state farm once upon a Time. But as soon as they found out we had a semi working farm. Lease out the hay field they cancelled us as in our name STATE FARM we don't cover farms:eek:. Too much liability with workers. But your state farm I thought you covered farms?
NOPE ! So now we nave North Carolina Farm Bureau. And my premium definitely reflects that fire zone 9-10.

Of course @Delta09 would probably tell you I drive like a little old lady which is why I never have accidents. But his opinion is invalidated by the fact that he's a typical Pennsylvania driver who will tail you on back roads when you're already going 10-15mph over. o_Oo_Oo_O

That stuff drives me crazy! No consistency between locations.

Businesses need to say what they mean and mean what they say!

In MD that's called reckless driving and it will get you points on your license. o_O:evil:

In PA that's called Monday morning northern hospitality. o_O:annoyed:
