I never snagged a cabin, but the Queen Wilhelmina aint a bad ride. Made several rides there over the years, damn near smacked a mountain line on the Wilhelmina parkway. Ranger at the lodge said we dont have mountain lions here. I said okay, nearly smacked a 24" tall house cat with paws the size of dessert plates and a 36" tail. Got a photo of the Goldwing shrouded in fog in the parking lot. Nothing like riding out at 6 am with 50' visibility and a hangover.

    .

Look at a 500 Rebel, or Naked, maybe a Triumph speed 400. Might be do-able. Plus, it will allow some weekend trips. If she wants a bike, this is the most fun part for me.

Or a CB500X. I hear somebody might have a gently used one they don't need after getting a Super Tenere.

A little higher soled boots and a CB500X would be the ticket. Coast to coast no problem.

Well dealership part 2! Today we went and looked at the klx300r and Honda rebels and surprisingly a grom! This dealer just got a shipment of 6 in this morning!

So first thing first the klx300r it's the grey model which I do like but personally prefer the green. Oh well I'm not picky on colors! Now this bike feels a lot lighter then the dual sport model since almost all the stuff on the back of the bike is gone! It's suspension is also more plush but firm? Idk how to explain it? But for sure liked it more and want it over the dual sport model. I went and talked numbers to see where we are at with it and wellll they are the most expensive out of the few dealers I've talked to at 7400 out the door... The dude did say if I don't like the price we can work on it since other r models are selling in the 6600-6800 range idk how well they can do but worth a shot once the klx400 sells.

Now to the fun part of having the gf sit on bikes and take pics while she glared at me! Haha

She tried all three rebels 300,500,1100. The 1100 is way to big for her but she wanted to sit on it because it's blue. Because bitches like blue as she always says haha. No pic of this one thou.

First rebel is the 300 in the red color. She fit perfectly on it and liked how it felt and how light it was feeling. But we both think it might be to small for her to learn and grow on.

Next rebel is the 500 in the narco grey color with a load of mods on it making the price on the sticker 8300! Not otd price btw!! Same for and feel as the 300 with a tad more weight to it but overall she felt fine with it.

Last rebel is the 1100 and well that was a no haha for to much power and overall comfort she just didn't like it haha.

Next we tested out the Kawasaki eliminator 450 she liked it's seat and feel but felt it was more cumbersome to move compared to the rebels. Also felt it was to wide. Again no pic whoops

Next the groooom we finally found one! And it was blue haha. She got to sit on it and it was slightly lower for her but still a tad high. She did like the from but liked the rebel more but time will tell on what she prefers and wants.

Next for shits and giggles a drz125 be ahse it was a baby bike haha

Also the last pic is her passing out on the way home so if she finds out she is gonna kill me for taking that one haha

Are you in Arkansas? Where I am in Oklahoma is only about 45 miles from Talihina, which is the Oklahoma side of Talimena scenic byway.

Oh forgot to mention while at the dealer I met a dude who loves the Yamaha bolt and has had two! His first one he bought new in 2014 modded it heavily and got it all the way to 53k miles with no issues what so ever! Got loads of info about it and what parts to get and I might be able to order aftermarket bits that he had for cheaper at his dealership for my bike! Super awesome guy to meet and talk for a good while!

I'm not, I'm in Texas. But have ridden there a bunch, only about a 5 hour ride out of Dallas. Havent been in a few years, a little too crowded going east.
