Just did a extended warranty with Richard.. Great guy to talk to.

 

What are the details and cost? It seems spurious to me the person mentioning Richard has 2 posts. For the record I got the 10yr/125k platinum from Jerry for $1795. Very happy with the transaction with him.

 

I got a 10 year 100k miles Platinum, zero deductible, Toyota VSA for $1360.

 

Curious how long it took to get the paperwork with Richard?

 

Got my paperwork today in the mail. So I got 10 yr 100,000 mile Platinum Coverage for $1,360.00. And I'm able to pay for it over 12 months no interest.

So initial reach out to Richard on 6/19. Sealed the warranty on 6/20. And got my paperwork on 7/2.

 

Man, I'm thinking about getting this now that I'm seeing other options for pricing. I have a '21 with 30,000 miles, when I bought it (used lease) they tried to sell me that warranty for ~$2,300 and it seemed unreasonable.

 

Send Richard a email. I'll tell you all the people mentioned here about getting extended warranties from on this thread I've emailed 2 or 3 and never heard back for any of them. At least Richard got back to me.

 

You have to get the warranty while your factory warranty is still active, right? I just got mine used but it's a '21 so my time might be coming up.

 

so i run the same rates as jerry. they are all built at 200$ over cost. i do everything remotely, and payment is done online so i dont take any card info form you

 

yes I cant sell a warranty outside the factory 3yr 36k due to needing an inspection done. as long as its within the time period we are good

 

Appreciate the info, thanks. Not to derail this thread, but what is your opinion on Toyota Care, and what is a reasonable price to pay for it?

 

my rate for the longest option is 755$ if you plan on doing your services id say get it. prices go up every year and if you can lock in the next 5-6 years at a low price its a good investment. at 795$ i see some people stating that's still a great price

 

$755 is about half what my selling dealer quoted. Thanks.

 

i mean i can sell it for more, but on these forums its all about getting coverage out there to consumers and we make a few dollars in the process.

 

I'm not sure it's worth it for me as mine is certified so I get 7yr/100k on powertrain. Also how do you check to see if I'm within the time window?
