Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Off to the dentist again to fix a surprise hole of missing something - no idea what. Parts came to fix the chlorinator and greenhouse water last night. Probably do that, and not much else.

Happy Tuesday all. For us retired peeps happy Saturday. The 10 day heat wave has started. 111 today, 111 again tomorrow and 100++ for 7 to 10 days there after. We’re swimming early and doing inside chores the rest of the day. I like warm weather but this is a bit much. Our A/C bill should reach record levels.
As of yesterday California slapped an additional 11% tax on all purchases of guns, ammo and gun parts. So with the regular sales tax and the additional gun tax we pay about 21% tax now on guns, ammo and gun parts. Glad I bought a couple guns earlier this year and stocked up on ammo. I go to the range 1 to 2 times a month and shoot 250 to 500 rounds. My little hobby is getting expensive but what the hell.

Afternoon all:

Productive day, got the last piece of insulation stapled back up in the garage, broke down the scaffolding, moved it down to the house, reassembled it, and fixed a shingle on the edge of the roof that a loose roofing nail was pushing up. Then down to the road to cut off a limb that was starting to block my vision plus a couple of small saplings that were in the area, now I can see oncoming traffic much better when I go to pull out of the driveway.
Noticed my buddy was back also, the pond pipe is pushed over further than yesterday.

Good morning. Thank you for all your . My cousin was moved to U of M Medical Center in Baltimore yesterday morning. She fell in the parking lot after returning home from the hospital to visit her husband. For most of yesterday they were both in the same hospital. My wife and I were in the Emergency Room with her for around 6 hours until her daughter arrived. Her and the family were on a camping weekend about 150 miles away. As of yesterday, she was still bleeding into a blood clot in her back and running a high fever. The fall took skin off her head and there was not enough to put in stiches. I hope the fever breaks today.

We are getting ready to go to the beach for a 4-day weekend tomorrow morning. Today is a guitar lesson, packing, and doing laundry.
