I need to go pick up another drill and driver set in m12. IMG_3020.jpg
This has been and still is the best little tool. I picked it up for driving pocket hole screws in face frames but I didn’t get a drill.IMG_3004.jpg IMG_3007.jpg
I used it to assemble the cat wheel the other day o_O must have been 50 or more screws in this thing! Did a rough count 94 screws  on the battery that was already in it.

Hmmm, mine does the same exact thing (and has from the day I got it). I just assumed it was supposed to do it.

Yea I think a lot of people sent theirs back and Milwaukee replaced it cuz it wouldn’t pair. It definitely broken and a known issue with that unit. Mine I got as a free tool choice at a Christmas sale.

I could put this sander to work today.
    M18 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/4 in. Sheet Sander Model # 2649-20
Knowing HD puts Milwaukee tools on sale all the time, how long should I wait. I could a get little off with my veterans discount.

Go to HD and ask. They usually know about sales.

I suspect that the sales people know before it is on the site.

Be sure to post some pictures.

That's awesome you have a lift in your garage. What I would give to have that!

Did all that. Staff at HD were clueless. Guess I’ll buy it now and in 2 weeks when it’s on sale just pretend I didn’t see the ad.

Within a certain time, I think 90 days, you can actually ask for a “rering” on the items and they will give you the sale price.

Yep, no need to pretend anything. Lots of stores do this as I've saved hundreds of dollars with Best Buy for the same reason.

I totally feel you. Went there to pick up a compact blower that my phone said was there. Said there were 3 in stock. I even showed the chick my phone and she brings me to the yardwork aisle and asks another dude. With a snarky attitude he says they don’t have anything like that here and dismisses us like we are bothering him. She was clearly out of her realm so I went to the tools section and what I wanted was there. Right where my phone said. I like to pick someone up along the way so they can unlock a case and bring it out front for me since I’m being treated like a tweaker. In this case I got stuck in the HD employee of the month section of losers. Gotta do your own leg work these days or they’re determined to screw it up.

i had the same thing happen when i got my m18 mower. saw they suddenly had stock at my local store, and tracked it down myself. it was jammed up on the top shelf, and almost no one in the store at that hour even knew it was there. it was probably the first one sold at that location.

or the non-video format breakdown. lots of interesting stuff.

i don't particularly see the benefit of the 'neutral-drop' speed adjuster in that m12 impact. i just run everything at full power, and vary the trigger depending on what i'm doing. i like the specs, but that feature is more of a bug than feature to me.

That's what I said too, until I have it. It takes up a ton of space and really limits the use the space provided (i.e. makes it hard to bring a vehicle in and open the doors just to vacuum it). It is awesome for oil changes and tire rotations etc.

Do you know if it's a warranty item? Wouldn't mind getting a new or refurbished unit.

I think it is. Lemme look up where I found out. I started researching it when I first couldn’t get it to pair.

I was actually thinking if it went on sale after I bought it could I take it back for a refund, and then buy it back at the sale price. But what your saying makes more sense and is definitely more ethical. THX.
