just a couple of things tbh
so he sent me pics and sent me a text with the otd price and even thou its marked down to 5k and was legit left in a box for a year... they still want the other bs fees so it goes to if i remember right 6600...
thats with it marked down a tad as well other dealers have been wanting a bit more then that while others (hard to find) are below the 7k mark
thats what my buddy told me is they are great tires for the price and honestly should do me just fine.

Apparently these tires are really good, and the RC390 group is telling me to go down to a 140 width tire. This is not a bad price...

the supercorsas are great tires from what virtually everyone on and off the track has told me. I'm gonna be trying those next once I burn through the bridgestones

I need to hold off and just use the tires I have for now but man I'm so tempted!

If you see this one on the road, say howdy. The center is cut out of reflective tape, a rough copy of a pictograph at Hueco Tanks just east of El Paso. The missing part is accurate of the pictograph, on the pictograph it was said to be yellow, bud faded away leaving red. I liked it so reflective tape it was.

I mean...they'll get used anyways right, and well within the 5 or 7 year or whatever age mark people agree on these days before a tire is too old to be safe?

    a deal's a deal I say :boink:

Awesome! The reflective tape is a good idea and a cool way to incorporate it!

Here are my panniers now. I'm running out of room!:

$5600 OTD for something advertised at $5k seems fair!

Though I wish they'd just advertise OTD price so there's no games but then they can't get away with sneaky BS fees lol.

After almost 3 months with no hits on the Dyna, I'm now tempted to see what kind of trade in I can get for it on a KLX 300. I'd like to have a plated, dirt oriented bike to trailer up or hitch basket when I go camping.

that was my thought as well the only concern my buddy brought up is how long has it been sitting in a box? the gas and brake fluid could already be bad in it which would be a pain but not a horrible thing to deal with id imagine on a FI bike? im use to carbs getting gunked up then clean them and they are good to go.

agreed.. idk why they do the oh wow such a great price! then you come in and they go oh ya its actually almost 2k more! like man really...
ideally id like to have my klx sold first so i can put one hell of a down payment on one since i dont have the extra cash flow to pay cash on it unless i wait awhile which was the original plan. it wouldnt be much extra id need since even at the bottom dollar for selling my klx id only need i think 1800 or so? that wouldnt take long to pay off if i can even get a loan that small lol.

Dumb question but do bikes come filled with fluids already? I thought that was something the dealership might do. If anything I'd ask them to change the brake fluid and make sure the bike runs properly before buying.

A BMW F800GS, it's a better bike for exploring long distance. The top box gets switched between the two bikes. I was taking it off yesterday and got distracted and didn't get the last wingnut off so it looks crooked (wife had shoulder replacement last Tuesday, so there's a lot of distractions right now).

And I like those Givi a lot better than the Happy Trail cases on the KLR.

When I worked for a Harley/Triumph/Buell dealership all new bikes came with brake fluid, coolant if so required, oil, and a tiny amount of fuel. I would not even bat an eye at those fluids as it has been in storage at a dealership. Unless that storage was an uninsulated shed sitting in the sun this entire time degradation will be minimal. I would ask for the first service thrown in as a sign of good faith. Oil and filter should be changed then anyway.
