On something like the bolt I wouldnt mind shinko's. Like stated, bigger heavier more powerful ridden harder bikes, id look at bigger name brands. That stated, my grom over 10k miles had exclusively shinkos and my goto front tire on my WR450 dirtbike is a Shinko 216MX fatty.

Im pretty sure PNO is on a YEARLY basis (you will get a registration renewal next year for the same 25$ fee). Still way better than the minimum of $132 youd pay.

just a couple of things tbh
so according to what he said it was a storage unit offsite and that bike and a few others were forgotten about for about a year or so. until he remembered he put them there. ill ask them on that the only thing is they are 2 hours away and i dont wanna go back tbh haha
gotcha my buddy has ran shinkos and one set of the german brand ones that are pricey af but he always goes back to shinkos since they are a good price and work just fine for him

That's my concern, is getting nothing for it, it is over 20 years old.
I was looking at the KLX's at the same time I bought the Versys. Decided it needed to be more street oriented for what i had in mind.
And I like the new color. :anonymous:

PNO should be a one time fee, at least that's how it's always been for me:

I really like that Bolt. If I sell something that will be one I would look at. Not a forward control kind of guy, but knocking around on one I think would be great, I'd pick it up over a HD. I dont have a hard on for the Motor Co, I have a hard on for most of their dealers. LOL

I've been thinking about putting a set of those on the FZ-07, I'm curious to know what you think about them?

I checked tires before the Devil's tower trip. I want the Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires... not cheap. The thing that made me laugh was the only place that had time to mount them wanted over $800 for tires and mounting. Absolutely absurd.

Got back from my ride on the FZ1. Let me just say that setting the rider sag to the correct measurements made a huge difference. Not harsh over bumps, turn in is much more controlled vs before when it felt like it was falling in. Bumps in corners do not upset the bike at all. Felt like I was in total control. All I want to do now is install the 47t rear sprocket to replace the stock 45 and I think it will be perfect. With the one tooth down in the front and stock 45t 60 mph is 4233 rpm’s and 70 mph is 4939 rpm’s. With the 16/47 sprockets 60mph will be 4421 rpm’s and 70 mph will be 5158 rpm’s. The bike just growls at 5k and really kicks in at 6k.
Right now if Iam in first and hold the rpm’s at 6k and wack the throttle the front end will come up. If Iam in first and just pin it say from 3k and hold it wot it will start to lift the front at 7-8k which is fun just because it’s gradual. It will also start to climb in second @wot but at about 10k. I love this bike.
Also I installed the stock seat I bought (didn’t come with the bike when I originally bought it) and it’s better than the Corbin that was on it. I also installed the stock bars and took off the gen 1 bars which were higher. I like the stock bar position better.

Depends on what you pay. LOL Never had one not come turnkey, but back in the early 80's there were new 3 and 4 year old bikes sitting in dealer inventory in 1983. A friend bought a new 1979 KZ750 twin for under $2,000 (new in the crate LOL) he had to put it together. It wasnt a huge project, but it was a days labor for him. A Kawa mechanic told me it should take an hour.

It was really a decent bike, but nothing I was interested in. Probably 30 horses less than the E3 I bought.

I remember back in the 80s and 90’s when you could get a brand new 2 year old bike for a lot less than MSRP.

Yeah. If that were the case I'd probably have pounced on the Goldwing Valkyrie I found. It's a 2014 or 2015 that's still brand new. They list it at full MSRP.

It obviously isn't selling at that, but they just sit on it.

I bought my 1985 Yamaha FJ1100 in July of 1987 as a brand new, full warranty 2 year old leftover.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with this thread, love it.

Took a break from fixing the wife's car (which was secretly mostly me prepping the KTM for next track day) and installed the handguards on the X.
