I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere in the 17 pages of this thread...

But whats the best clip setup to be level with a 2" lift in the rear (Deaver leaf pack)?

Looking to do a full suspension overhaul with Deaver Stage 2 and 6112/5160 - 650lb springs probably since I run no sway bar.

Max them out. Mines nearly dead even with Deaver stage 1 leafs.

I've decided on the 6112/5160 shocks with the icon rxt leaf pack for my 2012 tacoma access cab. Wondering what I can expect offroad? Interested in their capabilities and limitations? Insight from anyone who runs this set up or is familiar with them would be appreciated. Thanks

I just put RXT's option 1 on (22 OR DCSB). With Smart cap and bed mat I got exactly 2" lift. It rides SO nice. No regrets on spending the money for the full pack.

Prepare to wait for your 6112's been back ordered for awhile now.

I’ve looked into Bilstein’s and I don’t like the stiffness people complain about daily driving. So I think I’m going with fox.

So annoying that a lot of sites still show 6112s as available / in-stock.

I keep wondering if I should just wait it out or cancel and pay double for something really nice.

    Yup, 285/70R17!

The ride is firm, but it is far more planted. Factory Bilsteins and the leafs were terrible.. I tossed the idea around to go Kings or ADS before I went 6112s but just didn't want to go down that path yet again with control arms and parts that needed more attention. I have about 7k on them and did 7k on stock. I'm also not wheeling this truck…outside of fire roads and the beach she doesn't see action but Im confident that she would perform.

I got mine from Wheelers pre-assembled. No plans to change anything else to the suspension until things need to be replaced.

Installing 5160 and Icon RXT leaf pack on stage 2. Coming from 5100 and the 1.5 Icon AAL with overload leaf. Will I still have the same up and down travel/flex?

    5100 rear are 22.94 extended, 14.02 collapsed.
    5160 are 23.63 extended, 14.22 collapsed

On paper you should get .5" more with 5160

    I’m installing 6112’s and SPC UCA’s tomorrow.

anyone with experience know what I should set the UCA’s at for initial install? Going straight to an alignment place on Tuesday morning, but I want to set the UCA’s up as close as possible.

rear is ICON RXT Option 1 and 5160’s-already done a few weeks ago.

On the SPC spec sheet it gives recommendations for initial settings. I think it’s like setting “K” or something like that.

I would do the "D" Setting, it give 2 degrees of added caster. Its plenty to get a good alignment and it also give more space for bigger tires vs the 3 degree setting.

Hey all, wondering if these part numbers for 6112/5160s might fit a 2nd gen:
    25-242379 & 47-234413

    Thanks!

They're the last "generation" aka blue label of 6112s and 5160s, but yes they will work on a 2nd gen Tacoma just fine.

Awesome. Been debating between these and Dobinson IMS (different price point) and looking for a more plush ride on small cracks and washboard post-lift (or at least less digressive). Seems like both are stiff but at least I found a great deal on the Bilsteins that will allow for UCAs and better tires.

    33s here I come!

Is there a consensus on a leaf pack that gets 1.75/2 inches out of a mostly empty truck and that plays well with 5160 valving/tune?
My current one is too beat for an AAL
