ict made a nice top mount relocation for this compressor specifically.

I don’t know anything about anything, so I got a huge ac compressor and huge condenser to try and make AC cold AF. Probably not how it works but nonetheless, that’s how I have it.

Looks like a JDFab slide rack on it. All the cool kids have one.

    So I'm hearing...

...it seems like every Tundra swap either leaks or blows out entirely and swingsets aren't on the market yet.

I got bullied into buying one when I posted a pic of my truck in this thread without it.

@Basikbiker runs one and a few other trucks not on TW hard without issue including the AMR race truck. I think it’s mostly rock donkeys you’re looking at that need SAS to begin with since they break tie rods as well.

Since you tagged him, the only two people I know with his rack have had them blow out and they say he doesn't offer any help/support/etc, so I wouldn't buy one.

AMR couldn’t keep a tundra rack alive and went with a swingset.

For super hard running, swing set is probably the only truly robust setup. A TT style rack would also be pretty stout on a taco, but that would be basically impossible to fit. I know the TT racks can have issues too, but I don't think you'd have trouble with one on a tacoma. That's probably what I'll end up running just because its easy.

I have installed a bunch of basik racks and they've been good for everybody we've installed them for so far, but I have heard of a couple tundra racks online blowing not sure if they were basik's or not. I've only seen one failure of a rack with JD's slide rack in person where the seals just let go all at once, but I think that was because the pump over pressurized and blew the seals out. the other failure with the slide rack was cory.

TT rack is possible in a 2wd. Definitely not in a 4wd

Working on the crossmember for the 2wd’s as I have time.

    I always forget about the 2wd guys. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a 2wd taco where I live that's not a 5 lug from 2000

Interesting that must have been after the video he posted in 2020 where he said that it was holding up.
