Thanks, I hadn't even thought to look it up yet. This is the first one I've ever seen wandering by the house. Is there an easy way to tell if it's a male or female?

 

I have one of those, shoots nice.

 

Female have a taller dome I believe and tend to be larger. Color is also an indicator. I can't remember which is which, but more olive color is one, and greener is another. There's some way to tell from the bottom pattern on the shell, but I don't remember that either.

I wish. We're not in a great location for a dog. She has a Rottweiler at home to play with.
