    That reminds me...

I hit another deer last night. o_O

This time, I got very lucky! I must have hit it straight on with the steel bumper. There's no visible damage! I did notice some rubbing caused by a cover on the windshield washer fluid reservoir coming partially unclipped. But, I was able to snap it back into place.

Unfortunately, the deer did much worse than last time. I went right over it, probably around 50 mph. I turned around and went back and it was dead right where I hit it. :(

Now I’m thinking I should have bought the bumper with the hoopdy thingy on it. Too late now.

They're the best protection against animal strikes, but not the best against vehicle impacts/crashes

Raise the front high enough and you won't need the hoopdy thingy.

I was in Kenosha last Friday. Both were sold. The white one was a spot delivery and the salesman let me check it out on the way outside.

I'm seriously thinking about it. That Coastal one looks pretty nice. I could see a rear bumper upgrade eventually, also.

Cheers, guys! Looks like you're enjoying the weekend. I was going to attach a picture, but service is weak where I am. I'm sitting at the tiki bar drinking tequila and watching and listening to the river flow by. Pretty relaxing, aside from the 17,000,009 mosquitoes.

Been down in PR visiting family. Seen more than a fair share of Tacomas, some 4th gens, boatloads of 3rd gens, and a lot of very well kept first gen Tacomas. My favorite have been all the pre-tacoma pickups soaked in beautiful shades of red clay. Most of the 1st gens are straight up farm trucks up here in the mountain towns, and are a sight to behold.

But I hardly see any 5th gen 4runners. And when I do, they’re straight up mom mobiles with stock everything. Probably because it sucks so much gas going up the mountains there’s no money left over lol. Hardly saw any a few years ago either. Pretty surprising.

I did catch this saaweeeet 2nd gen 4runner though when we took a trip to the beachIMG_4142.jpg

Not too many chances to take pics though since I usually see them on the road.
