Have you tried the crank position sensor?

Now that you mention it the original had damage and I cut and input the one from the old car. I'll double check that. Maybe my sotter is bad.

Good luck. Hopefully it’s something simple like that.

I had the wrong wire in mind. I spliced the one next to it, oil level sensor. Crank position sensor wasn't touched

Do you have an immobilizer? Is there a little key on the dash?

Egr and ccv have the same connectors and are in reach of eachother. I had them swapped so the egr solenoid had 12v constant and was stuck open, provided vacuum to the egr upon start and killing the motor. Swapped the connectors and it fired right up!

Longtime lurker, phurst thyme poster...

Any Firestones in the area with techs that know how to do their job? Should be easy with SPCs and no bent tabs.

We used to have a guy here, but not anymore...

Yesterday I got the ol' "set the toe, and let it go" treatment :annoyed:

Most Firestone/Goodyear shops in the South bay don't touch lifted trucks for alignments.

My guess is there will be plenty of more profitable work like oil changes, tire sales/r&r, and brake jobs for these businesses.

Maybe it's different in the outer counties.

Most of them no longer work on lifted vehicles.

Lifetime alignment was a great deal.

Do you think this is covered under the “lifetime” classification?

Re-arranged by a probably drunk driver driving a Hyundai Santa Fe. Good solid hit to the bumper at 0120 this morning.

It sure does. One way or the other, someone goes to jail. Though maybe last night, they’d be getting what the deserved for being drunk.

To be honest tho, unless they caught the person, prolly not gonna catch them. Will be the car is in a garage or shop.
