Looks awesome, nice and cool I'm sure. It's been mid 90s here, HOT, so basically the vans been running straight all day keeping the AC going for Venice. Met some interesting characters today, currently in elko about to grab pizza then head north to camp.

Yeah it was maybe 70-75? Was awesome. Not too cold at night I'd guess in the 40s. Sunny too. Breezy a bit in afternoon but not bad.

Was awesome. Can't wait to go back. But next time need to bring a fishing pole and plan on 2 days there.

Yes I did! Took some photos and read for like an hour on it. Still going strong.

Did you camp out there or just build it there? The road to that area is way more defined than it was 10 years ago. Lot of utv traffic hass made it more worn in. Looked like you could get a truck there now.

Two nights there was fun for sure. I liked it. Would do that minimum if I go back. Two full days and three nights would be ideal.

    Camped there.

Glad to hear it's still going strong. I looked and we built that in August of 2018, so nice to see it's made it this long.

Nice. I'll be sure to try and camp there or just past that spot is cool too next time.

Yeah it looked like the left side upper pins could give out in the next year's. But still great. We ate lunch on it and sat on it plenty reading. So doing good! Great work!

Well today was hot and once I was chasing it was a bit chaotic of photos, chase, photos chase. Snuck into the rail yard in elko until they politely asked me to leave lol finished off the nigh finding camp in bumfuck nowhere and had a great horned owl come visit me... Or rather I disturbed his dinner hunt.

nice! Sounds eventful. look forward to photos.

Have an owl hooting in my back...area. Was a nest in the front area across the road last year and caught them roosting on my eve a few times. Super cool.

I saw the 2 biggest bald eagles today I've ever seen outside Hudson just past Lander. They were the size of goldens, almost stopped to take a photo..but didn't haha

honestly saw a lot of wildlife on our weekend. Bear on the way south, a Moose at the lake. Some cool birds. And the usual deer, antelope, citters ect.

I'm planning to spend a long weekend in CDA this winter to photograph the eagles so it hasn't been on my radar to capture one. Need a tripod for that, hopefully catch some photos of them hunting . But that's a ways off still.

Oh man that was a while ago but some awesome memories just tooling around that area! Missing the adventures that were out of our back door. We'll be in grand junction this August for a family reunion, don't think we'll drive the truck out but may still swing through Moab with the boys.

Finally made it home. I know this isnt everyone's cup of tea, but here are a couple shots from Nevada. Wasnt able to get any static shots unfortunately, got kicked out of the train yard in Elko pretty quick  Was shooting the first crossings with the 24-105 but made the jump to the 70-200, and man i am so happy i did, very happy with the results.

Yup, it's pretty accurate. But now at 5 &7 its slowing down and the fun activities with dad are increasing! Looking forward to years to come and trips out west in the rig with them to wheel or hunt. I hope to gather around a fire with y'all soon!
