    As the title says.. What is a good brand to get? thinking i want to as well do an intake tube, rear brakes are drums, i do not care to swap it over to rotors. how is the TRD exhaust system? I have the TRD tacoma but has stock exhaust.

    Centric Rotors. Don't get drilled or slotted. Waste on anything short of race applications.

    My personal recommendation never changes: Call Edwin at RaceShopper.com and order a set of SP Performance slotted rotors and Hawk pads.

    ^ You just got 3 different answers. Sometimes its so confusing but I'd go with MJP just on the pure fact he beats the hell out of his truck. He also Races it too so his set up has to work wonders. ​

    At 53k I am also thinking of brake upgrade. Rotors, pads, and stainless brake lines for just mainly street use any recommendations on parts. Do not want any noise from the brakes. I have heard the drilled or slotted rotors can make noise?

    Centric rotors and EBC Yellow pads. Set them in properly and there will be no squeal and stoping power will increase significantly.

    Modern Cross Drilled, and Slotted rotors are just fine. They do not have cracking issues. They work great on vehicles that haul loads, or for Bat-outta-hell drivers. They will help to eliminate warped rotor issues due to heavy/hard braking.
