That is sweet!

 

When my brother got married he and his ex-wife put a mobile home on my parents land and he's since built a nice barn, sheds, etc. around his piece of the property.

His daughter is 23, I found out from my aunt last week that he has moved in with our parents and his daughter and her boyfriend are living in his house, 7 months ago.

Blew my mind

I sent him a text inviting him to the house with our parents last time they came to eat, I also text him happy father's day, still waiting on a response from both text


If it sounds like I'm complaining, so be it

 

Anybody else ever remember they left their lunch in the car 3 1/2 hours after they put it in there or is that just me?

 

If this place is like any union shop I've ever been in, the moment you start complaining about something, somebody starts egging it on on purpose. You're better off grinning and bearing it.

I don't know you or your brother Creed, but I'd bet there's probably a little bit of jealousy there that you got out from under momma and Daddy's wings. Stay with it, hopefully he'll come around.

 

I remember getting a to go lunch in military with 2 little milks....i was in a rush and thought i grabbed my lunch and both milks...well about 3days later i smelled something awful in my car....Texas heat and spoiled milk are not a good combo. I looked under seat where the milk carton had rolled and it was all bloated...and leaking. Its one worst smells

 

I would never say anything to him or my parents, that's why I voiced it here. To get it off my chest.


I stayed with them as long as I could, until I got married. You got to cut the cord though, especially @51

I've never bit my nails, our son can't quit and I tell him 50 times a day to stop.

Drives me nuts watching kids on the baseball field do it while handling that dirty ball and all the spit that is on it from the ground

 

I brought tuna casserole today, glad I remembered it!!!

I left a box of 80 hamburgers in my wife's black Yukon for a week one time, in July

 

I guess i grew up different. I dont have parents to fall back on. I'd never impose on my aging parents if i had any.

All of you with chickens, do you get a lot of double yolk eggs?

We've cracked about 10 so far and about 5-6 have been double yolk.

 

Wasnt too common from what i remember. Maybe a genetic thing.

A used toothbrush that the 10th dentist recommended!!! Thats right, buddy!! 9 out of 10 of them said it was a junker toothbrush but the 10th dentist gave it a quality review!! At one point he even stated, "I guess its better than not brushing yer teeth at all, but please don't quote me on that". Now that there is some good stuff!! I currently have the beautiful brush soaking in brake cleaner, I'll shake it off and Creed will send it yer way!! Happy smiles!!

As if that aint enough......
Yer getting one of those red casings from them hot dog link thingies. Found that one myself in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot!!! Those things really come in handy when you need a hotdog casing and aint got one lyin around.

And least but last.....
Kindergarten playground gum!!! Lots of it!! Pre-chewed so most of the work has already been done!!!

I do plumbing sometimes at work, no way in heck am I chewing my nails even though I wear gloves!

 

Used to be in the fire department with a guy who was a mechanic then he started a septic tank business. We also deer hunted together at a hunting club. His cb handle was "greasy" from his mechanic days.

He was a really good cook as well and we used to kid him while he was cooking "is that grease under your fingernails" he'd always say "not anymore"
