Better than the other options in the area. We actually live in a really nice subdvision 3/4 million dollar homes in some parts. We are not staying in AL but for now this will do. Schools are the best for AL but that's not saying alot. Our daughter will go home school or private if we are still here, but we have a nice savings for TN/KY land and build along with opening our own practice. But ya I have never been a fan of AL, my wife is from here...

 

I guess thats why I prefer Trussvegas; I reserve Trashville for about 30 miles north; Ashville.

Wife is from Albertville, I work in downtown Bham and well...lived in Hoover/Greystone for a bit but that traffic. I'd move to north Alabama, like Florence area if I had to. But this has been a hard transition for me after being a midwest kid and then stationed in AZ and NJ.

 

Dude, there's some seriously nice areas in AL that don't even "feel like" AL. If I was allowed back, I wouldn't mind those areas.

 

This is my neighborhood. Our 4 bd 3ba, 2018 house is half mil. Everything is expensive these days my friend, even in AL.

3/4 millie for a 4 bed 2.5 bath on a 6,000 sq ft lot in a nice neighborhood in AL is mental; 3/4 millie for a 3 bed 2 bath on a nice chunk of land? Now thats the dream.

 

Well the average house price in the US is around 450… Alabama tends to be at 205… so this 4x the average house price …. It’s like a 4 million house in Cali … which is nuts also

 

You gotta think alot of parts of AL are very poor and rural, then you have the burbs filled with doctors, trust money, etc. that example and my hood is actually cheap compared to some of the homes the docs I work with and nurses that are married to docs live in that are million plus for 2k sq ft. AL is not all barefoot, missing tooth trailer homes like its depicted, we got civilization here too and money in areas.

 

Can you link me to a hood like that ? Always curious to learn about all parts of the us

My friend if you have vehicle ADD, that Black will drive you crazy.
Wife had a Black AMG SUV, that thing drove me crazy trying to keep it clean.
After about 8 months of hand washing it twice a week, it had to go.

If you want another Taco, by all means get one. But run away from Black!!!

 

Wife's RX is black and its a bear to maintain even with PPF and Gtechniq Ultra. I really would want Bronze Oxide if one popped up, but those seem to be impossible to find.
