I thought I'd share this, from my sister in law. She works on the base.

Wish you the best. I don't remember if I told you before but I have had cancer before, it was early stage. I picked radiation option. I went to the appt for follow up... I was told that I am cancer-free after I went through the radiation therapy..

    Have a good day.

    • Mine is Multiple Myeloma. Radiation not an option. Not cureable, but it is treatable. I went through a stem cell transplant. On chemo the rest of my days.

Afternoon gang. Not as hot as it has been, mid 90's compared to upper 90's, but still nasty

I believe I have discovered part of the problem with the old trolling motor. This thing had 10awg wires running 12to 14 feet on a 12v setup. That’s not even enough for a 24v system. But it’s about to get 6awg and switching over to a 24v setup. It’s probably going to jerk the bow off!IMG_3051.jpg IMG_3046.jpg IMG_3048.jpg IMG_3050.jpg

79° real feel also 79° but feels hot. Supposed to get up to 88° on Saturday and 91° Sunday and as much as I want to bitch and moan after what some of you all are posting I'll just keep my mouth shut and tell myself to suck it up buttercup.

Congrats my youngest son is in remission as well after advanced stage 4B and chemo. It was a long uphill road.

Last Monday I went to my radiation consult and they took me down to the proton beam unit was surprised that I qualified for it. She said for me ~95% success rate and I said sign me up now. But they want me to wait and talk to the surgeon first on the 26th. I don't want no damn souvenirs, just nuke the damn thing but they want me to get all the facts first so anxiously waiting on the 26th.

6 of us between the ages of 65 and 70 shoot sporting clays together often and I make the 3rd one to have cancer so we are at 50% now. One of the guys this weekend suggested we get hats made and be named the F**K cancer squad. Not comfortable going out in public with that word being displayed but I am starting to get onboard with the idea.
