There are a bunch of different subspecies, so size ranges depending on where you are. In general Coyotes are kinda small, but up here they are the size of a big dog and act a bit more like wolves- you can see/ hear them hunting larger prey in groups.

murdered?? Are you kidding me, if your not a 100% vegetarian you are a hipocrit. I guess rasing cows, pigs and chickens in cages then executing them on a schedule is ok with you but hunting wild animals is murder? Think before you type. I wish it was me who gave you a negative rating.

farm animals is different. You don't hunt them or harvest them...you raise them and slaughter them. I would be happy that someone hunted a cougar so it didn't hunt and slaughter me while out mt biking.......unless the cougar was vegetarian.

Exactly, some one who has a problem or opposes legal hunting and then turns around everyday and eats any kind of meat is a hipocrit.

I always thought of "harvesting" as growing plants or animals for mass consumption, imo killing animals for personal consumption is hunting.

I agree with you but there is a slight difference. You can go hunting and not kill or harvest anything on some occasions. When you are hunting and are fortunate enough to kill something, the word "harvest" is a much more modern/politically correct way to say "killed it". It also tends to go over more smoothly with anti-gun liberals who strongly oppose hunting and any other activity that makes a person independent.

I associate harvesting with growing plants or farming as you do.

    Uncle fucking Ted kills!

For the sake of round numbers there are approx 3000 Mtn. Lions in the great state of Az.

There is a 3 month moratorium in most units during the birthing season. What's next? A full ban on hunting cats? F that.

Oh and anyone that wants to hunt cats and thinks it's a slam dunk should come to az. We'll see if you can keep up after the first 10 miles.

Lots of houndsmen let cats go for a variety of reasons, not every cat treed is Killed.
