Put yourself in South Dakota, anywhere in Nevada on I80 or the Tahoe National Forest in California 10 miles off the Interstate or in Central No-where, Maine with a dead vehicle and ask yourself the same question. I don't care if it was three minutes and thirty seconds in a Walmart parking lot: It left him stranded: TWICE.

It inconvenienced him, not stranded him. Huge difference between having to screw around to get the truck to start versus walking home.

Story time I know two guys who bought optima yellow tops and they both failed within a month! They bought them several years apart like a decade so it’s not like it was a bad batch

The funny part is he's the only guy on here that took his truck to the dealership for a new battery.

He could have found that with a multimeter in his driveway in less than two minutes

Optimas are not the same brand they used to be back in the day. They got bought out by some other company. They are no good now and have been that way for quite a while.

No..I took it there for diagnostic. My battery was under warranty from another shop I bought it from so I got a fresh one for free.

I'll be looking at other batt brands in the future tho

I took mine in for a bad battery at something like 9 months old. They replaced it free of charge.

It didn't.. cause batteries don't suddenly regain power out of the blue.

Anyway, I love the comments in this thread by all the city folk and flatlanders lol "imagine you didn't have cell signal".."imagine you need to walk out"

Yes yes you urbanite ladies... where I fucking live the second you venture far you're out of cell service. I don't need to imagine it.

No cell service (whatever..nothing new for me)..
1st time we were delayed by about 6 hours through the night. 2nd time by about 3 ish.

Keep your little suburbian comments coming tho. Been having a good laugh on account of this thread!

    God bless

Yep, I'd be hoping the problem magically came back too. Otherwise it's a pretty embarrassing thread

Take it back to the dealer and ask them to remove the alternator and starter for testing. Maybe they'll find something. If not, better trade it in I guess..
