    Thanks.

How many model years did it take until the Gen 3 was solid?

Could be an easy fix for Toyota like missing a torque spec on a bolt. Not that it's a good thing it's happening, sometimes issues are easy to correct, and some details get over looked. These trucks are still very new.

The gen 3 rollout was also way smoother, there was no such thing as being 9 months past the date the truck was said it was going to be available and still having trouble finding a TRD OR or a Limited on the lot.

Sure, none of these 4th gens were hitting lots until Feb/Mar, but we're 4 months past that and still not seeing much beyond SR5s and RWD Sports

Does this make sense? A Premium TRD OR that does not have leather or the larger screen? What exactly does premium include?

Kinda weird that we're only a couple of months away from the 2025s.

Sorry, I should’ve stayed that’s how he described it. Clearly a Premium package would have the 14” screen.

The non-hybrid premium package has the large screen and Soft-tex seats.

Several years to really improve the transmission, add the electric seat, add LED lights, etc.

I mean, its always been a good truck, but they just recalled like 480k trucks a few months ago for bad axles...

Retightening axle nuts is not the most disruptive recall in the world but just goes to show you that shoddy workmanship is not limited to newly redesigned vehicles.
The Tundra recall on the other hand? No thanks. Curious to see if the emergent transmission failures in the Tacoma are the first hints of a major issue.

My 2022 was in the recall, checked them in the garage, no issue, confirmed by tech as well last service. That recall is blown out of proportion. The tundra one though...and lookey here, updated part numbers and bearings...

(ignore this dude, he's just good at highlight videos, listen to the carcarenut part)

The cheapest way to acquire a Gen 4 Tacoma will be to adopt a short length of road shoulder and simply wait.

    (I crack myself up.)
