Nothing is wrong with the black, you need to use the right product to clean with and make it shine. That's how I do with mine.

I clean mine twice a month. It looks new like day one.

 

I know how to wash a car.
Used only the 2 bucket method with microfiber mitt after full rinsing and foaming with Chemical Guys Honey Dew car foam.
Blew all the water off with a Worx leaf blower.
Then used Mequiar's Xpress wax with microfiber cloths every time to wipe it down to remove any remaining water.
The paint looked better than the day I drove it off the Mercedes showroom floor.
But drive it around the block, and you could write your name in the dust on the backside of the thing.

 

I understand that but dust are everywhere... even the dirt/gravel roads.. I understand it is nuts to clean every time.

I don't care if I have dust on mine since I clean it twice a month. Nothing is kept clean forever... You have to clean whenever you can.

Once you go on the road, you can't protect your truck from outside elements these days. Even you could get into an accident. Things can happen. Such as debris falling down from the sky hitting your truck. Birds drop bombs.

Suicide idiots I mean bugs hitting the front end and windshield.

 

Congrats on the new Taco. They don't stay clean for long but when they shine, they shine. Took me about 3 years to go down a notch on the OCD Meter for my black 2017. I still hand wash and also dry it after rain but have grown to accept the pinstriping on the sides.

 

Same. The outside will get dirty, I accept that. However, I try to keep the interior as showroom fresh as possible. I spend my time INSIDE my truck, not outside. I love riding in a fully detailed interior.

 

Same, although the day I got a white dog, my fresh black interior went down the tubes. Still, I'm in a pattern on detailing the interior before every long trip.

 

Well didnt go through with it, on the hunt for a premium package offroad in Bronze Oxide. The dealer was super pushy too with the black one dont want to settle for my guinea pig truck. Stay tuned.

Lugs, but I know guys use the splines too. I'm actually gonna sell the Rays as I dont want to run -10 on the new truck. Gonna run a different setup.

I had a 16 and 17, I'll deal with the growing pains. I just never really wanted black and that dealer was so pushy with it trying to make a sale. If I'm gonna jump into the 4th gen waters I at least want the truck I want.

I work full time, 2 weeks from graduating NP school, have a 4 month old, I have no idea when I would find the time to drive up there and snag it.

 

Just have them bring it to my house, I'll keep an eye on it for ya
